Interested in the everyday ideologies embedded in the built environment and the relation between humans, animals and the organic world, Chloé Roubert’s outputs are inspired by the ethnographic and archival research she conducts and have included publications, walks, essays, panels, meals and installations. She has completed residencies at the Banff Art Center in Canada, the Muséum National d'Histoire Naturelle in Paris and the Bauhaus-Dessau Foundation in Germany, but she peaked when The New Yorker called her a “Scholar of Pigeons.”

In parallel to her art practice, she is committed to contributing to more a sustainable future and works as a freelance applied anthropologist and design strategist. She is a member of the co-op Sonder, a design collective working in the space of global health and economic equity.
